Product Details

The one-piece replacement insert from Glass Pet Doors gives your dog easy access to the outdoors. Safety tempered shatterproof glass insert replaces the glass insert in a single French Door or on either side of double French Doors. The insert includes a large factory-installed Endura Flap Dog Door that accommodates most dogs weighing 40 to 100 lbs. Your dog must be able to step over 8" to 10" in height. This size is ideal for Golden Retrievers, Collies, Labradors, German Shepherds, Dobermans, Pointers, and Boxers.

The three sides of the Endura Flap panel come equipped with magnetic sealing and stays sealed in 50mph winds. This design produces a high level of energy efficiency compared to other pet doors on the market.

The Endura Flap comes with a locking cover that can be attached while you're away or needing to keep your pet in one place. Endura Flap Dog Doors come with a limited lifetime warranty. The French Door replacement insert comes with a 5-year limited warranty.

  • Does the pet door need to be installed on the door that swings open?

    The new glass with pet door can go on either the fixed side or the swinging side.

  • How long does it take to install?

    I would plan on 30 min to 1 hour depending on your comfort.

  • Are the panels/flaps flexible? Seems like it would trap a dog if it backed up.

    The Endura Flap is slightly more rigid than other economy style flaps, but it is a safe, soft, flexible flap. It remains flexible in temperatures as low as -40°F.

  • How does my small dog use the door if he can't reach it?

  • Do I need a professional to install my Endura Flap Door Glass?

  • Is a single flap enough for winter weather?

    A single Endura Flap is extremely energy-efficient and capable of withstanding winds up to 50 mph. It is the only door which allows you to increase the magnetic strength for increased wind resistance. It is recommended for timid pets. The double flap increases the energy-efficiency further.

  • Does the door sound very loud when the dog goes in or out?

    When the flap gets to its resting place there is a snapping sound when the magnets employ. This sound lets you know the door is doing its job sealing out the elements and keeping your heated or cooled air inside.
